Sai ram. I would like to share my experience that happened to me nearly 4 years ago. At that time, I was working in an electronic company situated in Penang. The company was in the midst of retrenchment and would eventually cease its operations in Penang. Understandably, we were all stressed out, thinking of our financial and family commitments. I wondered how I would cope with being retrenched at the late age 40.
One day, as I was driving down to Sungai Petani from Penang, I languished in the stress that I was going through and called helplessly upon Sriguru Saipreeth Swamiji to guide me. I felt myself losing focus on my driving. All of a sudden, I saw Swamiji’s reflection on the rear-view mirror: he was clothed in white with an orange robe draped around Him. He was smiling serenely at me. Immediately, I turned to look at Him at the back but there was no one there. This transcendental incident pulled me from my sorrows and thrust confidence in me to move forward, with the deep faith and belief that ‘Swamiji is with me. He will take care of me. Just surrender and leave it all to Him.’
Eventually, everyone at the factory staff was given a VSS. One day, after 3 months of being at home, I received a call from Intel – I was offered employment in the engineering department but on a contract basis. After exactly one year of being in Intel, I received an offer from Jabil, Penang offering me permanent employment. Thoroughly grateful, I accepted the offer and I’m currently holding a managerial post in its HR department. As evident, everything sorted itself out in the end.
