The first meeting happened in Shirdi Sai Baba Centre in Melaka, Malaysia. I was working temporarily as a cashier whilst waiting for my diploma intake. It was the end of 2014.
I was at the cashier when a devotee of Shirdi Baba rushed to me and asked, “Lagu, who is that? Is he a Swamiji or Guru? The person that the devotee was referring to was praying to Shirdi Sai Baba’s moorthi and His back was facing us.
After praying, He walked to us. I was stunned when I first lay my eyes on Him. His eyes were sparkling and there was something about Him that I could not apprehend. He has long hair with beard.
Upon approaching to the cashier, He turned to His disciple to donate some money to the Centre.
I looked at the man and asked, Sir, are you a Yogi?”
“What do you think?” He asked. I said, “I think so..” with a puzzled look.
“Your name?” He asked. “Laguvendran” I answered with a short reply.
“Lagoo..it is the end of your journey. I am rushing to Ramakrishna’s ashram for a Satsang. You can call me tonight after you meditate on me”. He blessed me by placing His palm on my head and handed His card to me. On the card, it was stated His name as, Sriguru Saipreeth Swamiji.
I felt an adrenaline rush and I became extremely happy and I was overwhelmed with a blissful state which I could never explicitly explain this order of Bhagawan. Truthfully, it is difficult for me to have faith and devotion to any Gurus and Masters due to my ego. However, I bow down to Sriguru Saipreeth Swamiji as I felt a divine connection with Him.
I was jumping in joy and immediately called my parents to inform them of the miracle. I could not shake of my excitement throughout the whole conversation. The first meeting with my Guru brought so much of exhilaration and unexpectedly my ego vanished.
As instructed by Sriguru, the following day, I meditated upon Him and I experienced a tingling sensation at my backbone and that day I dreamt about Kriya Babaji in His form and instantly the gate of my past relationship with Him came to my experience.
Day by day, more and more vibhuti started to materialized from Swamiji’s photo. I am also thankful to be able to share the vibhuti with everyone as I have been receiving visitors from many places. Most of them said that after consuming the vibhuti, their body pain such as knee pain and back pain were cured. I am truly thankful.
Indeed, I was bewildered but yet a deep sense of gratitude towards Sriguru grew inside of me. I called Sriguru and said, “Can I call you Babaji?” He permits and thereafter my family and I are totally devoted to Sriguru Saipreeth Swamiji. Babaji presence completed our life and our faith in Babaji will be emblemed in our heart till eternity.
Swamiji is our medium that was sent by Shirdi Sai Baba to us as vibhuti materialized from Swamiji’s name card photo. Despite the situation of Corona in the world, Baba has once again restored our faith. We must always secure our trust and faith in our Swamiji and Shirdi Sai Baba.
